When reading the lovely, interesting and extremely talented hope at hope dies last, i stumbled upon this entry. i love a challenge, and i guess i seem to love memes as well, so i asked for a letter and the rest is history.

The rules: You leave a comment on this post, and I’ll assign you a letter. You write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter, and post it at your place with a link back here. When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on. here goes:

tattoos: i've got the hearts for tattoos. big time. i love everything about them, although, in all honesty, i can be a tattoo snob at times. i hate when people get tattoos for no reason. i think every tattoo should have a story behind it. even if its a quick story. i had a friend once get a landmark from our hometown tattooed on him. nothing life altering happened there, but its a symbol which brings you back to your roots. i love getting tattooed. call me crazy, but its a pain that doesn't hurt. you'd need to be tattooed to know what i mean.

taste: i think this is self explanatory. i love food. i love wine and alcohol. the sense of taste is one of the gifts i am most thankful for in life. the 2 things i enjoy doing the most are surprising friends and family members with little gifts and eating out! mange bein!

thinking: this could sound strange coming from me, because i'm known to be an over thinker. irregardless, i wouldn't give up how introspective and analytical i can be at times. i'm a deep person. i think about everything; i think about people's perspectives, what people are feeling, what i'm grateful for, what i want to do with my life, how i can help others, etc., etc.,. etc. i like being deep. i like knowing that even though my thoughts can sometimes be overwhelming and lead to anxiety, my emotions and mind are at a level many people are afraid to go to. i like to challenge myself. both with intelligence and emotions.

thankfulness: i have lived a life with many ups and downs. i've had much handed to me and a lot taken away. in the mess, i've learned that the only way to survive the good and the bad and still come out a better person is to be grateful for it all. being thankful for your life and everything in it is a blessing in itself. i'm a true believer in gratitude reflecting even more things in your life to be thankful for. its a beautiful, bountiful cycle.

thunderstorms: there is something majorly sexy about a thunderstorm. there is nothing better than being all cuddled up in bed when its all thunder and lightning outside the window...but having sexy time in a thunderstorm? whats better than that? its like the perfect backdrop to a seriously good time.

theatre: i used to be an actress. i wish i could still say i acted still regularly, but i don't. ironically, i will be in a monologue show this coming weekend. it will be the first time i've done anything since i did the vagina monologues (oh, i loved doing that show) in 2006.

touching: i'm a fan of human touch. i pretty much love hugging, kissing and cuddling. i think that most people don't touch, or avoid it, a lot these days. that is so sad. there is nothing more perfect than laying with someone who you love and running your hand up and down their back. i don't know how to perfectly explain this. i want to say "petting them" but that sounds too perverted. any touch is important though. not just intimate touch. i think i'm going to start a campaign to get people touching again. i challenge all of you to touch someone you don't normally touch. high five a co-worker, hug a friend, thumb wrestle your mom, whatever works for you. then come and tell me how it went. we can change the world, one touch at a time.

traveling: i wish i could get paid to travel everywhere. wait, maybe this is my passion. i could be a travel writer. i've been talking alot lately about finding a job i am passionate about. i would die to be a food critic, but the problem is... i'm not picky (keep you're mouth closed elizabeth), but i seriously dislike some foods. like collard greens, beans, nuts. yukkkkkk. i couldn't eat food with those ingredients. and i couldn't be a good food critic if i didn't eat EVERYTHING! sorry, getting back to my point. maybe travel writing is my passion. all i want to do is be a writer, teacher and traveler (and eater)! but where would the money come from? does anyone know anything about travel writing? i'm really interested now. (and even if you don't know about travel writing, please find me a new job. or find me a passion ;) please!)

tequila and tanqueray: you get two for one with this "t" because they are both liquors. i'm known to love tequila. hell, a nickname in college was even "cuervo!" i've just got a love for margaritas. and when it comes to tanqueray... well i love it. one day i ordered tanqueray and pineapple juice and my (super hot) waiter looked at me with a very confused look on his face and said, "gin and juice, really?" haha after that i had a hard time ordering any juices with my drink. now i stick to tanqueray and sprite if i order it.

and finally, TrishB soon to be G: one of my closest friends. she and i disagree with each other, sometimes just to disagree. we love each other so much, we just both happen to be super stubborn. she is just an excellent person i admire so very much and i am so glad to have her in my life. i'm so lucky she found the perfect person to compliment her, and i am so thankful that i get to be a bridesmaid in their wedding!

ok, so now its your turn... you want a letter? let me know in a comment.
(this post sooooo proves i have ADD. i'm all over the place!)

lately, i've been writing very, very long posts and then deleting them when i finish. it is 4am. i have to wake up for work in about 2 and a half hours. i got home very late. the bestie and i had a nice night out. the old man was right-he wouldn't come out because he knew we wouldn't make it home until the AM hours. i tried to convince him we would be home by 12:30am at latest. ha. yeah right. not even close. i guess i could have been home earlier, but i spent a long time talking. we all know how long i can talk.
i don't want to retype the blog i just deleted. i mean, i guess i erased everything for a reason. when i reread it, i just felt like all i did was complain and whine. i'm tired of all that. i am a positive person. i don't want to be negative anymore. i have a feeling that 2009 is going to be an excellent year. it will be.
i want another tattoo. actually, i think i just want to change the tattoo on my foot. my problem is that i have no clue what i want yet. any suggestions?
