yummy in my tummy, or maybe it was just the ambiance?

today i am most grateful for new restaurants
i love going to new places to eat...especially if they really surprise and impress me with their ambiance.
tonight i went on a "date" with michaela to a new restaurant we've both been wanting to try in the renaissance hotel (which is a stunning hotel). its called Temple, and the place is GORGEOUS!!!! it is a little pricey if you are just going for bite to eat. might be a little more reasonable if you are going out for a celebration or birthday or date...but then i guess i can't complain because mic and i were on a "date!" lol. kidding.
i wasn't HUGELY impressed with the food. i don't mean that it was bad. it was good. i guess i just expected a little more. michaela liked her salmon a lot, so maybe my meal was just not what i thought it would be. i would definitely return and try it again though. it was good. AND we got oysters...which i LOVE!!!!
this picture really does the place no justice. it is GORGEOUS! there are built-in private booths, hanging candle lights...its great- you should check it out if you are in the area.
