grace number one hundred and sixty four

tonight my brother and sister-in-law had their annual summer cookout.
they are really lucky to have such wonderful friends.
and i guess i am pretty darn lucky to be acquainted with all the great people they know.
we're all also so lucky to be musically inclined.
if it were your first time at the cookout, you'd think you mistakenly ended up at american idol auditions.
there was a stage, a complete sound set up, people running the board, lights on the stage, etc.
shoot, i bet you'd think you were AT american idol... not just an audition.
ha.
anyway so grateful to have been there this evening.
and also so glad to be around my bestie holly this afternoon.
i love her so much and i am always grateful for the time we spend together.
today we did a little shopping and lunch.
