today i am thankful for...
the flu shot i got yesterday.
and the fact it was for free.
the fact that it is friday. i didn't work on mon or tues, so it doesn't feel like a friday.
that i got paid today from job #2. time to pay the bills.
and that i plan on taking a nice long nap when i get home from work!

oh, and i also want to honor the day.
it has been eight years since the september 11th attacks.
i cannot believe it has been so long.
i can barely even remember the feelings i felt.
i just want everyone to take a minute and remember the patriotism they felt at that time.
we all need to step back for a moment and thank our soldiers for putting themselves in danger to protect everything we stand for.
we also need to take a second and think about those who survived the attacks and those who lost their loved ones eight years ago today.

i was humbled and i still am by this moment in history.
