does anyone know anything about fire extinguishers?
while cleaning, my father broke an old extinguisher that used to be my pepere's. he died in 1982, so its atleast 25 years old. anyway, it broke and got chemicals all over the place. the house smells horrendous and i'm a little convinced i'm going to die. can extinguisher fumes kill you? is it anything like carbon monoxide? will it hurt my dog who only weighs 11 pounds? am i just being psychosomatic?
let me know. please. soon.

That said, I'm not familiar with the smell, or what, if anything, the accelerants will decompose into given time. Your best bet is to air it out completely and leave it well ventilated for a good while.
But, I don't think panic is warranted.
By the way, found you through 20SB. Have a good night, smell notwithstanding.
