i've come to a realization that a quarter-life crisis isn't something which comes and goes quickly. while i do admit it can hit you out of no where like an unexpected hurricane...the aftermath i believe takes a long time to rebuild. years even.
maybe i am rambling, but you should check out this post about confidence. i think she perfectly describes alot of my thoughts on how i feel about myself.
the attitude needs to change.
i need to put my life and thoughts in motion and be who i can be. and love who i am

stealing saturdays: back in action
july 25, 2009
taken from here.
Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.

i like spaghetti.
i also like buying regular old sauces from the grocery store, and tweaking the recipe just a slight bit.
but, if i eat me a lot of pasta, then i am left with a lot of empty jars.
whats a girl (or guy) to do with them (besides recycle, which is always a good idea)?
here is what you can do.
i'm shocking myself with how "green" i am becoming! yay :)

kudos to this jamaica plains couple, and everyone who helped them, make this moving day a success.
i find this extremely inspiring. maybe just because i am a big whiner. in some ways i actually like to move. i think its the whole empty house that i can decorate. yeah, i think thats about it.
everything else: i hate.
i try to be so proactive in a move. throw out and donate ALL of the junk i hjave accumulated, and then organize the rest BY ROOM. if i were to do this, then i would have a very nice time unpacking. and less junk to carry.
but i don't. EVER. i seem to allow junk to accumulate and never find the time to toss or donate.
then i make the excuse that i will do that WHILE unpacking. never happens.
usually i only finish unpacking WAY after i've already lived there.
ugh. so anyway. they inspire me.

i am a huge fan of restaurant.com
and i was shocked to find that many people do not know anything about it.
basically you can get gift certificates for incredibly cheap.
usually $25 GC for $10.
BUT... i NEVER pay that price.
usually i get $25GC for $2 OR $10GC for .60cents!
yes you read that correctly. i usually just find codes online to make them that cheap.
if you go buy some now use the code NAPKINS to get that price (the super cheap one) above.
and, i DO use these. and they ALWAYS work. i also used to receive them when i worked in a restaurant and i never, ever had a problem redeeming one that my customers gave me.

yeah- a little late.
i know, i know i am late.
but you should check this out.
one of the best advertising campaigns i have seen in a while.
i'm proud.
sounds corny, but true.
a major name label visibly "speaking out" for a cause which is still (sadly) controversial is rare.
yet so important.
they deserve a round of applause.
california deserves an earthquake.
well, i'm sorry i take that back.
california lawmakers deserve a swift kick in their ass.
such a forward state taking a huge step back.
so. damn. sad.
this is something i would love to be involved in.
a visible, yet non threatening symbol of support.
y'all come out to massachusetts now :)

not that i want to take any seriousness away from the swine flu, but when i read this at just for the halibut, it really just struck me.
y'all should really think about this.
"90 people get the swine flu and everybody wants to wear a mask. A million people have AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom."
